Modified my 45 D so kids could drive it. Had 90 kids drive it. 3 had driven it last year. One Mom said " when I told the kids we were going to the fair, I asked them what they wanted to do. They yelled "DRIVE THE TRACTOR AGAIN !". I heard another ask what her mom had she had done with the certificate I gave her last year. Mom said she'd put it in the drawer for safe keeping. This year I gave them pin back buttons (with a picture of the tractor.) so they would not loose them.

Bought a second seat bracket for the left side, spaced out the fenders 2" or3"( might have to move my side out another inch), made a curved pcs of plywood and mounted the seats back on it, Kids seat is a plastic bucket chair I found. put on a seat belt. Had to remove the tool box. There is no choke, so I moved the starter to that hole. Put one of those front steps sold on here. made a 8" by 12" or so platform to step up on so no one would fall between the tire and the frame. Mounted a snap coupler slat 3 bottom plow. I have the kid pull the starter, raise the plow, so we don't make a big hole in the ground, then have him steer. I operate it with the hand clutch and the brakes. It steers easy, but sometimes I have to help some of the smaller ones that don't understand the turning procedure. larger kids I can usually talk them how to drive. You can tell right a way if the kids have had any driving experience. then we drive about 1/4 to 1/2 mile.(we have a large flat field that they can make a large circler turn) and when we get back they have to drop the plow, and shut off the tractor. You should see the smiles.
