In-laws a knight statue they want to sell and I have no idea what it's worth. It was bought in Mexico about 40 years ago by my father in law and he says he believes it's hand made. It's about 5 feet tall and is a full suit of armor with a lance. Any thoughts?

minimum of $1000 per height, so 1000 x 5 = $5,000.
Some yuppie will buy it for that, front hallway decoration !
if real and old, x10...
check Google for similar suits, you'd be surprised what they can fetch..
far more than 10% above scrap tin for sure !!!!

I'm wondering WHY it costs $2 a loaf considering the HUGE surplus of grain the USA has...
then again gas up here is over $5 USD/USG...
sigh

Man, Canada sucks! Speak it brother!!

While we're asking rhetorical questions, why do the farmers look to make more and more yield every year, overproducing even more, driving our sale prices down even more.....Oh yeah, you first says one farmer to the other! Classic case of prisoner's dilemma.

If it's one of them tin statues that you can pick up by yourself, I bought one at auction a couple years back for my son.  He's one of those renaissance folks, goes to the festival here every year.  It has a sword that it is holding with both hand standing on the point.  I believe I gave $30 or $40 for it.  I know I wouldn't have given any more than that.

I'm not sure how tall it is but it fit diagonally across my pickup box which is a shortbed.  I'm thinking it is around 7' tall.  I can have him send me a picture of it to compare to your's if you want.  PM me and Ill get it.

If you can find statue of a pagan village that is infested with statues of dragons you could probably name your own price or a statue of a damsel in distress.

Sister and I were playing in the farm house attic at maybe 5/6 years old.
Found a plaque we did know what it was or meant and carried it downstairs to our mom.
Turned out to be a novelty someone gave my parents years earlier from a road trip.
