Old gal puts 2 ears in the microwave for 6 minutes with the husk on them. I'm thinking you could cook those little old worms in the end of the ear at the same time. Actually some gal on face book was a bellyaching about worms in the end of some ears she bought. I posted the above reply, I won't post her answer on here. But the old gal does nuke the sweet corn like this works good.

Tom, my wife does them for 2 (TWO) minutes then turns them over 180 and another 2 minutes.  PERFECT corn and all the silk and everything just falls off.  NO pickin and bitc**ng
EASY as pie and it is GOOD!!  Oh, our microwave is a 1100 watt one.

I don't think none of the farmers around here plant any "Sweet Corn" so don't guess I've ever ate any of the fresh sweet  corn,,,but,,,but,,,see'in as how the wife hates the thought of them worms being in the corn, I started to buy the frozen ears cut in 4" pieces,,, Dang sure sweet and clean. In the microwave 2 mins to defrost,,slather a little butter on em and then 2 mins on high and ready to get it all over your mouth,,,UMMmmmmm!!Clap

5 min. Cumulative, per ear with the husks on.  Cut off the fat end far enough up to get all the husk ends, approx 1 inch.  Squeeze the cob out of the cut off end.  No silt, perfect corn.

This would probably work with any cooking method with the husks on.  I just prefer to nuke mine.

we just soak the whole ear, husks and all, in water for about 15 minutes, and place on the warm (not hot) part of the grill. some put their butter inside the husks before putting them on the grill. when the outer layer of the husks are burned black, they are done inside.
