Had a scare 2 weeks ago when the red low oil pressure light come on after baling 620 bales of hay. Come to find out the sending unit went bad. So I ordered a few parts and made up a kit. Very happy how it turned out. Gauge is easily seen from the seat and adds a peace of mind when the sending unit bites the dust again.

Thanks Red Bank, less than $70 in it including the AC gauge even though its after market. I decided to keep my series II dash panel stock.

You could have mounted the pod to the side of the dash pod. I've found a oil pressure guage down by my foot is like having no guage.d

Parts list: Allis Chalmers D-19 oil pressure gauge, 0-80 psi. Sandy Lake Imp is where I got mine. After market but seams to be good quality. Glow Shift metal gauge pod. GS-U01B. Inexpensive with free shipping, $12.99. Deep pod is required because this is a mechanical gauge and the pod has no rear exit. Other pods do but this allowed for a cleaner look due to the side exit of this model. 1-piece of 2”x 3 1/4”x 1/8” metal to mount gauge. Required to give height so my tool box opens. You wont need this if you dont have a tool box. 2 1/16”x 1 7/8”x 3/32” o-ring. Found it in the faucet section of hardware store. Slides over the gauge body, reduces vibration between the gauge face and metal pod. 2 ea- asst coupling nuts, #351. 2 ea- machine screws, 10-32x3/4. Copper tube gauge kit. $10.99 at Advance auto. 1/8” copper tee 1/8” copper 45 degree fitting.
Hope I haven’t missed anything. Very easy install and I think it looks pretty clean.

As far as location, the gauge could be placed in many locations. This is just where I installled it. I am always looking forward and down when working crops. Also trying to limit the originality of the XT

My 200 came new and still has 9.5L-15 on the front. I use the 4 rib design and really like them.

I have 9.5L X 15 tires on the front of my 185.I think New Holland round baler rims will work and they are very heavy duty.
