Looking for a AC umbrella for my 190XT. Would like some imput on brand, price, best place to purchase one. Want a good quality item including the mount. Which is better, a 4 point or a 5 point? Would prefer Allis Chalmers printed instead of the emblem from the 50’s. Not that I do not like the emblem but it was not on my XT.

I'd like to find a nice buggy top style for my 7040. I want the triangle logo though, not the diamond logo.

That's easy:  http://www.tractorumbrellas.com/makes/allis-chalmers" rel="nofollow - http://www.tractorumbrellas.com/makes/allis-chalmers

I can understand not wanting the diamond logo on an XT but don't have a clue where to get one of those.

They are nice umbrellas JW. I had looked at those before I posted. They only come with the diamond logo. Like Ed, I would like to find one with the triangle logo or Allis Chalmers like dad had on his D-15. Thank you for posting the link.

I haven't driven that tractor in a parade in probably 15 years but the day I do, every A/C nut in the forest is there.

A friend of mine bought exactly what I’m looking for at a Gathering of the orange in Indiana but he doesn’t have the vender info. That was 2 Years ago I think $100 for the umbrella and $50 for the mount..

The wife to-be repaints them to what ever color you like and puts the Allis Chalmers on them too.  Here's some of her work.

How much does one cost Don?
Charlie, I laughed at ya at the beginning of the parade when the sprinkles hit but I wasn't laughing going by the judges stand in the down pour! I guess being older doesn't always mean I'm wiser! I could not have been any wetter if I jumped in the river by the time I reached the trailer!

Yes, it says Allis Chalmers, bought it shortly after he bought the D-15 new. It held up well for many years. Would be nice to get a new cover since all the parts are still there.

She will paint the words Allis Chalmers on two sides just like the one in the pic for $45.00 plus the shipping costs. To change the color is $15.00 more. All she needs is just the cover not the frame work. She did mine like six years ago and still look good today.  She just paints the umbrellas not in the sales of them. lol

This is the style umbrella that i am looking for. This is from our dads D-15 series II purchased new in 1968. Doesn’t need the dealer name although that would be cool.

Nice seeing the triangle logo on one, but that is not a buggy top like I'm looking for.

IF you can't find one, She can paint the same art work on buggy tops and the umbrellas, all she needs is the old cover for the art work.

Ok guys, I just got an email from Ken about the umbrella's and they are available with orange and black triangle logo and white canvas.  The buggy top comes in 40" and 48," they just aren't on the old website and the new one is under construction.  I don't benefit in any way from the sales of them, I do plan to attend the Orange Spectacular on Saturday and I can haul a few with me if you make arrangements with them.  I live 6 miles from their office and would be happy to pick them up.  I would advise you to call them at (816) 322-1898

I knew the name of the town where Dad bought the WD-45 new in 1954 and wanted to get one of these umbrella's and have Don(MO)'s fiancé paint  the dealership name it on the opposing sides but I haven't found out the real name except it was also a Buick dealership.  That would make it unique.

Thank you JW! You are the man. I will call them monday. And this looks like it is mounted under the umbrella instead of on top which is exactly what I’m looking for. Dads mounted to the fender, came up and bent inward and attached to the umbrella bows. Awesome, I hope he sells the whole kit.
