I have read on "here" and other forums about fuel pumps(diesel) getting gummed-up while sitting for extended periods. Out XT sits from late Nov.-late march without running and "knock-on-wood" have not had an issue. Just wondering if simply moving the throttle lever/shut-off lever would keep internals loose? Not sure if anything could be  done to the 433T in the combine though other than moving the throttle lever. This is strictly without starting the engines. Thanks

I am in NC so our winters aren't as harsh as yours but I am very proactive with our fuel supply tank on the farm and try to keep the freshest fuel and I will add additives to the tank but before I park everything I fill them up and add more additive to the tractors fuel tanks. Aside from running the tractors at least once a month I am not sure what moving the linkages would do but I would juice the fuel up and run the tractors before parking them for the winter.

What you are referring to may be Bio diesel.

Don't use bio diesel and they can set as long as you want. I pay extra for straight diesel cause it's worth it!
