Hi,
It has been while since I posted.  The glide blocks (on the throttle quadrant) on both of my WD45's have really worn down and I found one can purchase them on line.   I am looking for hints on how they are installed?   I don't see any way to get them slipped on and off and then keep them from sliding up and down the throttle and hydraulic levers.

Thanks in advance!
Steve

Just pull back on the end of the lever and slide them off the end new ones go on in the reverse
Slide the new block on the lever and pull back on the end enough for the slide block to go across the quadrant

There is a little nipple on the back ov the slide to keep it from sliding off the end of the lever.

Also a good time to check out the little springs behind the quadrant on the lever shafts, these are what put downward tension on the levers. If the blocks are worn out the springs may also be. Thing is they are a HUGE job to replace.
