Are there any setup Instructions for my new to me 1300 Field cultivator?
It looks like the hitch is Adjustable and seems a little bit too high the front teeth are not digging in! Thanks

Depending on how high your tractor's drawbar sets, you will want to adjust the 1300's hitch so that it digs level - front to back.

Another couple Questions where can you get the shanks for it? And can you put IH earth metal sweeps on it? Earth metal last longer then anything else you can get! Thanks

The AC field cultivator sweeps are a angle than most. If not right they will not go into the ground very well

Sweeps are a row crop sweep so they are 54 degree not 47 like most so case ih earth metal sweeps will probably not work.

We have two 1300 field cultivators, one to run, one for parts. My dad has called them a certified dump rake for years lol. They do a great job but will pickup every piece of trash and string and everything else in the field. And yes they are a different angle sweep than most. We have pretty much retired ours since getting a Krause field cultivator.

Allis uses a 54˚ shovel which I couldn't find any in a 4 inch so I got 47˚ shovels and put two or three washers between the shovel and shank at the bottom bolt. Cheap crappy Chinese washers from Fleet Farm take three compared to two washers from the local CaseIH dealer.

Old design meant for full tillage. 1400 series are much better.
