The bearings in the spindle hub shot turds and destroyed the spindle. The unit is a early serial number! Is it a solid axle and what's the best way to replace it? AGCO parts book shows stub shafts in it on later models? ------------- 25-40, WD-45, D14, D17D, D19G, D19G, D19D, D19D, 185, 190G, 190D, 200, 7000, 7060, and 8030 |

Sounds like a trip to a machine shop. Get a new one made, and weld it in. The hub you can get anywhere. Get one with a grease nipple or put one in. Then grease your other one(s) too.

| What we have done with welded in spindles that have to be replaced is, after the spindle is removed, weld in a piece of schedule 80 pipe, the spindle slides into the pipe, then run a bolt through the pipe and the spindle. Makes replacement the next time a lot easier. |
