I have a 1964 Series 4 D19 and had the motor rebuilt 2 years ago. I was talking to the shop about finding some new Fenders when The owner told me what he thought the value of the tractor was which I thought was high. His reason was that he thought this particular gas unit was one of the last 300 made. I would like to validate this but am having a hard time locating the serial number. Anyone have an idea where I should look on a series 4 D19? Any helpis much appreciated.

Thanks.

The s/n on a D-19 is directly behind the seat stamped onto the rear end top. Not the cover of the rear end, but the rear end itself just ahead of the lift arm housing. There is no such thing as a "series 4" in a D-19 model. D-19's were never in different "series".

Yup, just like the Dr says. No such thing as series 4 D19. All D19's were just that; D19's. And I have never heard of the last ones being worth any more than the first. All good though, in my mind. D19 was my first allis tractor, and still one of my favorites. Darrel

All very helpful. Like I said I use it for haying and I do love to drive it. An like all restorations, its a labor of love and a long journey as moeny permits and you can find parts.

Thanks so much.

Supposedly, the last D-19 built was s/n 16,266 .
