How can you check if a valve or valves is stuck? I think some water got in the engine and some are now stuck. The engine is free now and I had new valves and springs installed prior to my roof leaking on my B.
What is the best way to free any stuck valves?

Remove the valve cover and push or pry each valve down and see that they come back up. Those that do not come up oil the stem and work the valve up and down until they move freely. If they were stuck in the full up position you would have a bent push rod to that valve.

Thanks guys. I used a clamp on each valve. They all compress down and back up again!
They seem a little difficult to compress though but maybe valves are supposed to have that much tension? Not sure?
I sprayed the head and engine down with Fogging Oil and sea foam as well sand let it sit for a day.
