Hello forum friends.

Can someone confirm for me that there should be a Spring under the De Accelerator Pedal on my HD16. There are two holes, one under the pedal and one on the floor plate that looks like a spring would attach there. I took off al the floor plates to sand, stir and repaint and noticed it.

Yes I know its petty and insouciant but if a spring goes there I want to put one there. Nothing shows up on the parts manual.

there are 2 different versions but as far as I know the only spring is just above the injection pump near the shaft that comes out of the hand throttle tensioner. I hope to go pick one up in a few weeks, so cant say for sure
