Im adding a distributor to my C and need to get a T for the oil lines to get oil to the distributor gears. The parts book shows a special fitting but doesn't list the size. Is the line 1/8? And on top of the governor where the T is placed is what is the fitting size? I was planning to hit the hardware store after work but forgot to bring the lines and existing fittings with me. the lines are original steel with ferrules. can I get something to work here or is it going to take several pieces to get where I need? thanks

some of those small lines are the same size as the line in an AFTER MARKET oil gauge set.. They give you a small copper or plastic tube with a couple brass fittings and ferrel seals on the ends..... If there stock of " tubing" and "fittings" are all too big.... go look at the aftermarket oil gauge kit.
------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s.

yep, you are right. 1/8 inch or same as oil pressure line. i ended up having the distributor setup in my vehicle so i had something to go by but no luck at hardware store or local carquest. That is a goofy fitting with a female on the bottom and the other 2 male ends in 1/8.
