I’ve got a Athens 3 bottom disk plow that’s setup for snap coupler hitch I would like to convert it to 3 pt because I don’t use my snap coupler tractor anymore for work there all in retired status and mostly just for shows and parades . Has anyone converted there plows to 3 pt if so I’d like to see some pictures of how it was done . Thanks mark

Probably easier and better to sell yours and buy one. Lot of heavy steel would need to be bent and/or welded properly to get it right.

Allis plows 50, 60 70, and 80 families used he same plow frame for both hitches, just bolted on the different hitch parts for snap coupler or three point. Details show in the parts book referenced in AC Plows 101 over in the Knowledge Forum.

Those Disc plows are heavy. Best to bring one of those well built Snap Coupler tractors out of retirement and park the finger pinching back breaking newfangled 3pt tractors.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Can't agree more, Paul.  Also the Athens disc plow uses a unique bent frame, that would make a conversion real heavy and expensive, to do. Why throw away the value in a perfectly good SC plow, to chop it up, and make it a worthless 3point one?Wink

I recently purchased a snap coupler one way disc. 5ea 24" disc on a common shaft. The tail wheel is disassembled and I'm looking for parts brake down information. Is there a flat disc sandwiched between the heavy hub and the end cap?
