how do you set the timing on a 1952 Allischalmers model  WD using a timing light where are the timing marks at just want the timing just right it could be out a little I just want it to be as strong as it can be thanks for your help never did this before on a tractor a lot of cars and trucks

It's pretty much the same concept as a car or truck. Connect your light to the front plug wire and there is a hole in line with the rim of the flywheel to view the marks. There will be a TDC line and a FIRE line. Run the engine at full throttle and center the FIRE line in the hole by turning the distributor or magneto as needed.
