I've got a WD that has stuck spin outs... Normal, yes I know.
Here's the deal. I got a spare set that's not stuck, but can't get the old one's off the tractor. I jacked up the tractor, took the bolts out of the spin-outs that hold it to the "mexican hat" then tried to pry the wheel off with the spin-outs still on the wheel. NO GO. Anybody got any ideas? I tried a pry bar, that didn't work either. I'm thinking it may just be rusted on so bad that the rust is holding it there.

The ones I did I had the same bolts out but the rim was off the tractor laying on the ground. Take a 5 lb sledge from the front and loosen the inside hat from the outside rim. Should fall out the back on to the ground. They get stuck pretty good. Regards, Chris

If the tractor runs and the tie is good loosen the bolts do a couple donuts in the yard usually work great

Unbolt the wheel at the hub and lay it on the ground. Remove the bolts that hold the eccentrics in place. I use a heavy piece of lumber that I repeatedly drop on to the wheel center. A few good whacks and everything falls apart.
To free up the eccentrics, throw them in the wood stove and let them cook over night. In the morning, let them cool a bit then put a socket on them. Guaranteed to work!

had to use a sledge hammer to seperate the ones on the d14, same as others said, unbolt lay on the ground, unbolt eccentrics and hit with hammer, ain't fun, but worked
