A customer ask "What is left as to old AC dealers who still are with AGCO>CAT>MF and how old are they in heritage - be interesting to hear from you  as I bet with the knowledge around the US and Canada here you guys can fill in the blanks.
We - B&G are in line of a dealership started in 1950 about a mile from present location in Paris Tn.. ..

Our local dealer is Affolder Implement in Berne, IN.  They say on their website that they were the first to obtain an Allis Chalmers Dealership in Indiana in 1928 and sold Rumely Oil Pulls before that.  They are still and MF/AGCO dealer today but sell mostly Kubota's anymore.  The dealer we get most of our parts from is North Star Hardware in North Star, OH.  I do not know when they became an AC dealer but they are a fantastic dealer to do business with.

The wife's ex-brother-in-law lives in Paris. I sent him a text and asked if he heard of your business. He said yes, it's a pretty big place. His girlfriend's cousin works there. I could use a good Agco dealer. The one I did go to (Gentry Bros in Sparta TN) went out of business. It seems the owners were embezzling money from MF. I think the closest dealer to me now is in Crossville, about 60 miles, but closer than Paris I'm afraid.

I agree with you on Bruce, he is really good with A-C Lawn & Garden.  His brother Dan who used to be in sales and parts too had a bad heart attack several weeks ago.

Without looking is there any Agco dealers close to Gray Tenn, where the GOTO will be in the end of April?

My closest dealer who is now part of a 10 store group was originally an A-C starting in the 60's. The rest or that dealer group were mainly MF dealers. My next two closest independent Agco dealers are both originally A-C dealers with one going back into the 30's. Both still well run strong dealerships who are strong in Gleaners. One is also a Versatile, Kubota, Kinze dealer

Pentagon Farm Center.
4 or 5 locations now all Massey/Fendt/Cat. Lacombe and Westlock were Allis dealers since the war at least.
The new building in Lacombe has several restored Allis tractors mounted on the wall and the best partsman in Western Canada(Bob Bramfield).

Tompkins Implement Co. - Eldon, MO

They have been an A-C dealer since 1962 (as I recall).  Our family has done business there from the beginning.  They are now MF, but carry many A-C/AGCO parts and can order in parts that are still available.

This is bluer then blue. Sadder then sad. I cut this out of a Farm Bureau Spokesmen paper back in 1993. It is a list for all the Gleaner dealers and phone numbers in the state of Iowa. They listed 41 dealers.
