I finally drug out my Leon 10 foot front mount blade that i bought years ago and am quickly realizing that it did not fit a 7000 series allis,at least not a 7060.
the draw bar socket is not large enough and the front axle mounting pads look way too wide and by measuring it the power steering cylinder anchor bracket is in the way. so does any one have a picture or can remember how they mounted theirs before i pull out the gas axe and welder?  thanks

Don't put a front mounted blade on a good tractor. It will twist frame, causing front plate to Waller gasket out, warning dowel pins. Go buy a dozer.   MACK

I can show you the aborted mess the previous owner did when mounting a degelman on my 7030.

I think if a guy made a much nicer dedicated mounting bracket that replaced the front weight bracket it wouldnt be a big issue. If that bracket had been made, I think the Degelman would actually look pretty good and be mounted pretty securely.

I dont plan on pushing much with mine, probably just some snow.

I ain't no fan of pushing snow....rather have a front mounted snowblower.
far less stress on the tractor,no expensive repairs
it gets RID of the snow!
unless you push the first stuff far,far away you'll bust something trying to move it next day(do NOT ask WHY I KNOW that....$$$$)

I tried using the rear blde on Troy for 3-4 years. PITN( Pain In The Neck), back ,legs, dang whole body really...
I finally bought a 20HP MTD rider with front mount 42" snowblower and for past 6-7 years it's done a GREAT job. OK I have to blow the snow 2-3 times(remember, this is a small machine) BUT I have a 'challenging' lot here, maybe 1/5 acre of 'snow to go'. This snowblowing rider is setup for ONE purpose..snowblowing. THAT (one machine- one job) has saved me a LOT of time and back pain as NO implement swapping is required'.

If you USE your tractor for real farming and can't afford for it to be 'in the repair shed' ,perhaps a 2nd smaller tractor/blower is the way to go .
just food for thought.
