Can any of you guys offer some insight on what I'm looking at here? On the left side of the engine there appears to be a hole in the block or plug missing and on the right hand side, the engine appears to be separated from the torque housing. Is it as bad as it looks, or am I seeing things?

too many HyperText Transfer Protocol headings either http:// or https:// but not both
If you plugged a link into the post, look at the left side of the box; there's already an http:// So, when you paste your link, there's another one put in. You have to move the cursor to the left of the link you put in (on the right side) and delete the http:// or https://
The preview should show the correct link. You can check it out prior to posting.

It appears that possibly a fuel pump was removed from the left side, and the starter was broken from the housing on the right side.
Ad states it was rolled over.

I think it is worse than you envision.
The hole on the left side looks like a mounting for a camshaft driven fuel pump. If the engine was running oil would be pouring out of there.
The back flange on the other side looks like part of the flange for the starter has been broken off, so there's no mounting for the starter. There's no simple fix for that short of a replacement block.
