I hot a chance to buy a gas sin cylnder motor out of a combine that got in a wreck. The motor is seems good but I am thinking about buying it for the exhaust manifold I know it's not a Chevy motor but my question is are all the blocks the same ie 2400 2800 my 190 xt is a 301 ci not sure on the motor sizes will it fit ? Thanks for any help.

Early F gas is a 262,it will not fit a 190XT, later F gas is 292 chev, Diesel F has the 2800, 301 cu same block as 190XT

Thanks well that shot that deal but what about a wd45 could i put it in one of my wd45 I know I would need to length the side rails and work over the hood I can pick it up for 200 hate to let it go.if it's a 262 that is.

Look at the LH side about midway and see if it has a cover plate. At one time the G2800 & D2800 shared the same block. I believed that the bolt pattern and flange size is the same as AC Delco gasoline fuel pumps.

If it is a 262 AC motor, and if you can find a WD45D flywheel and adapter plate, it will go in your 45 with some other work. MACK

Early 1968-69 F (serial # 1001-9000) have the G262 93hp engine. Later 1970-76 (serial # 9001-36200) have the GM292 101hp engine. You'll find the F machine serial # plate on left side under engine ladder.

FYI - Early 1968-69 gleaner G (serial # G/GH & G1001-12200) offered the AC301 G2800 105hp gas engine.
