Has any one ever removed the leading edge from the foot on a No.3 subsoiler ? I think it just rest on the rivets in the foot ? minus 50 plus years of rust . Jon (OH)

Yes, that is a shin that can be reversed and also rotated before you wear it down to far!
So, you will have 4 surfaces to use before it needs to be replaced!
I have rotated the shin on my subsoiler I have on my CA.
