'41 B with a Zenith carb.
I'm having fueling issues that I think I've isolated to my carb. I've searched enough around here before posting to know its not a common problem. I rebuilt the Zenith carburator with a new float (ABC190) and Rebuild kit (ABC232) from Steiner tractor. I set the float at 1 5/32" with the gasket on the carb, and I can pull the bottom drain plug out of it and only get a dribble out of the carb with the tank valve open.

I've washed out the tank, fuel bowl and lines going to the carb and can get good flow up to the carb. I've even pulled the elbow to make sure it wasn't a screened elbow that was clogged. The elbow doesn't have a screen so no need to worry I guess?

I don't know where to go from here as I think I got everything setup per spec. short of setting the float height at 1.05", which is what it would be if I removed the gasket between the needle seat and the zenith body.

Is there anything I missed?

When rebuilding Zenith or Marvel Carbs, always run a brush on a drill into the inlet cavity and get all the rust and crud that builds up in there over the years. You'll be a bit suprised how much rust collects in the threads, and rust n' debris get lodged at the rear of the inlet. That could possibly be where you fuel is getting restricted. Everytime I rebuild a customer's Carburetor, that is part of the cleaning process.  HTH
