Never seen these shields before....im thinking this cultivator is for the wd or 45? Any info?

I don't think they are shields,,,,,,,, more like an attachment to run close to the row to take out little weeds kinda like a rotary hoe does. But they might bust up the clods and dirt to keep from covering the small plants.............. ------------- You don't really have to be smart if you know who is! |

Those are rolling cultivator shields. They had them for WC,WD and CA time period cultivators. HTH Tracy ------------- No greater gift than healthy grandkids! |

| You could adjust a rotary cultivator to throw more or less dirt around the crop. Guessing they helped protect the crop but let some dirt hill up around it. |
