Does anyone have a picture of the ring/ball hitch for an all crop 66 combine? I can't seem to find a picture. My combine has a regular pin hitch that someone fab'd up and put on it. Is there an advantage to the ring hitch?

More of a preference or if you want to keep it original.

It allows you to turn sharper without binding on the hitch, or so it seems to me. I think it's easier to hook up as well. I can get a photo tomorrow if I remember.

I have lots of photos, but I won't pay Photobuckets ransom to put it here. I will post some once I find a way again, if nobody else puts any up

I have 2 or 3 of them in the shed, had to dig them out to move the round baler. If the old gal will show me how to post pictures I will. I think you will be happier with the pin hitch.

We wore out three or four pin hitches then changed to the ball type.No loose motion in the ball  and never wore it out. Keep it greesed.

I never thought of the motion wearing the pin hole! Good point

Make sure you have a good lock washer on the bolt. Course threads. Ive lost two by leaving them on the drawbar while using 3pt equipment. The nut comes off and the ball falls right out cause the shank is half the width of the drawbar hole

Dennis's hitch is missing the base that goes under the ball. I have a complete one but like the other guys I'm not paying Photobucket's ransom either.

I have never seen one with a base. If you want to send me a picture I would be happy to post it.
Just so you know, I don't pay Photobucket a dime.

My #7 pull type sickle mower has the ball hitch also. They are not as bad as you would think when hooking up by yourself.

I'll have to figure out how to post a pic without photobucket, but there is a base the ball sets on. Mine also has a fine thread bolt and if I remember correctly it has a hole through it for a cotter pin.
