I am trying to fix a CA carburetor that is missing the throttle shaft lever.
Most of the kits say that they fit CA and D/10 D/12. The throttle shaft
in those kits is too long and hits the block.
Does anyone know of a vendor who has the kit with the correct throttle
shaft and lever for the CA?

DO you mean it bottoms out on the plug on the outside hole?

Do you have a Marvel Schebler or Zenith carburetor? If you search for a kit for the carburetor number that you have you should be able to find the correct throttle. The Marvel will have a plate on the throat of the carburetor and the number will start with TSX. The Zenith number is on the round plate on top of the carburetor.
