Is there any reason a 7030 or 7040 radiator wouldn't bolt in a 7020? Ours is an 1981 model if that matters. I see there is a serial number break at 6000 S/N on the 426 equiped  7000 series. Is that a change in oil cooler? Also is there any particular place to buy one other then Shoup ,Tractor Joes or TractorPartsASAP?

301 engines had ac compressor up top where 426 had them on oh side of engine. 426 radiators have top tank spout in middle where 301 spout is to the outside more. And when I say spout I mean where top radiator hose hooks on.

A good radiator shop can move the spout over.

when my 7020 rad went bad; no one even hinted that it would take a 7030 and up radiator.   i'm thinking it's way different.  it might fit the other way.  7020 to 7030 a hole lot easier.

It looks like there are no new radiators available for the 7020 model. I found one for the 7000 and the 7030 and up. I'm hoping the radiator can be rodded out or the tanks are good enough to recore. Other wise it will be moving the inlet on a new 8030 radiator.

I put a new 7060 rad. in my 7020 highcrop. I only had to move the shroud up a inch or so. The long top hose will match up good enough to the top rad spout.

What about A/C compressor interference?

If you have A/C, the hose will not fit. I looked at my 7010. There is only a few inches space between the clutch and the radiator.

The 7000 holds 3 quart less than a 7020.
