Can the front crankshaft seal be replaces without taking the gear cover off? Does anyone know the part number for a speedy sleeve for a B front crankshaft?

Ted, I don't know the part numbers. When I would need one I just called Sandy Lake and told Brenda than I needed the front crankshaft for a B.
You can change them without removing the timing cover. You will need a hooked seal remover to get behind it.

I just filled in the spiral with JB weld and filed it smooth. Almost 1 year later, still no leaks.
