Transmission oil level is over full now. Rear end is low. Where is this transferring of oil happening?

A lot of places, but most common hydraulic pump and seal on pump drive shaft at pumps.    MACK

What does "now" mean ??  Like you've been doing something to the tractor and NOW it has this problem???   Tractor has to be on a very level surface and sitting for 15 minutes to get accurate readings. Trans dipstick has to be wiped clean and checked on both sides of the stick.  Until you correct oil levels, use the tractor and find it really has done it again, I'm not absolutely sure there is a problem. Oil transfer usually goes the other way on those tractors.

First time to have it out this spring. Hook to 20 ft Batwing bushhog.Wouldn't raise lift cylinder after about 5 hours use. Checked oil at sight glass an couldn't see any. Let sit 2 hours an checked again that's when I noticed transmission was over full.Changed all oils an filters last fall.

Well, I'd think for the hydraulic oil to be low enough to affect the lifting, your power steering should have acted up and that would mean being maybe 10 gallons low on oil??? I don't think there's room for 10 gallons of oil to transfer into the tranny. I think you have an oil leak on the batwing and your tranny being overfull?? how much more on the dipstick?? an inch??

Transmission dip stick is to the back, so if front of tractor is a little up hill, the dip stick will show over full. Front could have been down hill a little when filled so now shows over full.     MACK
