We have a 6080 that will not idle up and will only run for a minute or so before it shuts off, if you start it back up it will run for an even shorter time, the longer you wait the more run time you get  but it never reves higher than 1000-1200 rpm. This all leads me to believe it is a fuel issue of some type. we have changed the Filter checked the line and it seems to be getting fuel, air filters are good also. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Check for junk in the tank, floats around and shuts off the fuel or restricts it.   Had a IH 574 with that problem ...... nearly drove me crazy , that's just a short ride.

flex ring in pump is breaking down plugging the return fitting in top of pump. Take it out and clean it, and see if it helps nurse you along until it can be down while you get the pump properly rebuilt.

Ed has the answer.  Time for a pump rebuild.

Agree seems the 6000 series is bad for having stuff plug off the tank outlet.

Ed was 100% correct, I pulled the return line and cleaned out the fitting with the little check ball in it and the tractor ran great for a few hours and then started acting up again, definitely time for a pump rebuild.
