Not just slipping by taking more time than it should to do something. With the torque tube being broke I looked over my stash. All had broken bolts that would need drilled out that was for the C. I found one for a B that only needed cleaned up and a tap run in the holes to clean out the mud bug nests and rust. I would only have to drill and tap the two 1/2" holes for the steering box support. Ya right, I put the throw out bearing assembly in, turned it tuther end up and started to slide the foot rest tube in and found both angled bolts broke off even with the casting.  I got in the loader bucked so the holes could be drilled out straight down. Shot another afternoon.  I got the tube in and bolted fast and took the torque tube out to the tractor. I came home from work and picked the torque tube up with the loader bucket and slid it over the drive shaft I had bolted fast to the transmission. I had it bolted fast tight and started to bolt the foot rest to the fender brackets and no holes.  I bolted the foot rest tuther end to. I put a 6" long piece of 5/8" all thread on the top holes with a jack under the bell and slid it forward enough to remove the foot rest and switch ends. Feed the horses and had a little daylight so I decided to bolt the engine to the torque tube. Worked and worked trying it to go in the last 3/4"  and was about to give up when I see in my clutch pedal had stuck forward from my prying the torque tube off and back on.  I got three bolts tight but in the rocking and pushing I lost one of the nuts in the dark.
I found a pin hole in the bottom of the gas tank when I removed it.
I guess I should bale the yard rather than try to grind it up with the Woods 59 the way it is growing. Probly won't though.  I would have cut one hay patch to bale today if the C lawn mower was not down. I need to have a place to haul manure as soon as it dries out.

love it when ya think, oh, I'll just do ?, it won't take that long...yea right.  Kinda like when a buddy calls and says "hey can ya come help with ?, it'll only take an hour or so".  2 weeks later it still ain't done!!!lol

was trying to get the final drive back on the d14 (cleaned brakes and replaced axle seal).  I fought with the thing for what seemed like eternity and it wouldn't slide in?  the bolts for the floor board that hang down from the bottom of the final drive was hitting the floor board!!!AngryAngry  moved the bolts slid right into place..  of course all the moving and shoving the final drive I probly messed up the axle seal and will get to do it all over again!

Gas  tank repaired and I smeared some orange paint on the bottom of the gas tank and covered the torque tube because of the bare metal. I just used a 69 cent brush.  I would like to paint all of the tractor and put the tin back on but I don't have the time now. Maybe back to mowing tomorrow evening.

my internationals tank was full of rust.  i dumped out the old stale nasty gas, put a little bit of fresh gas and a few pieces of clean limestone and shook it around, kept doing that till I stopped getting large amounts of rust.  I recommend counting how many stones ya put it and make sure ya get em all out.LOL

This tank had the bottom full of holes and I fiber glassed it seven years ago. After that I  used acid to dissolve the rust inside. When I removed the tank it had a spot that the paint had bubbled.  In smoothing the fiber glass out to paint I just found that I had ground almost thru the fiber glass.  I put down three layers over that area today. It should be ready to go now.   I bought a tank liner kit for it but have no idea where it might be.

I just mowed for an hour and a half with the trouble maker. Actually other than the stripped drive shaft I caused my own trouble. I still have to drill and tap the holes for the steering bracket. I also have not put the battery box back on. I will pick up a battery over the next week end.  I did take a few pictures but the camera is still in the tool box. I hope it cleans up! The black grease on my gloves didn't stay on the gloves when I took a picture. I need better gloves! (:^D
