I have a series one D-17 and it leaks hydraulic fluid from the inspection hole in the bottom of the torque tube. The best I can figure it leaks from around the input shaft. Just want to know what part I have to get before I tear into it to fix it.

There is a shaft seal in there. I forget if it was built with just one or two, but I know there is room for two. When I had my D17 apart I stacked up two seals. You'll have the engine out so now is also a good time to put a new clutch in it.
