| Hey guys new to the allis world with the purchase of a 7060 maroon belly doing regular maintenance and was going to change all the filters and got to the powershift filter which appears to be a canister type on the rear end and was wondering if it screws off or what? Thanks! |

It is a messy operation. Unscrew the long bolt that goes up through the can. It is spring loaded, so when it unscrews at the last, it might jump down at you. There is a large O ring around the top and should be one at the bottom. The most important thing is a plastic part in the top of the filter. It has magnets in the ears. (Watch close how the plastic comes out. It has two ears that have to go up into holes. Make sure the ears are in their holes when going back together or you will break the ears off. If you should break this part, you wouldn't be the first.) Clean the magnets and put it back together.

| Yes that is what I thought you have, the bottom spins off tell them you have an early tractor lot smaller filter than the later ones |

IF you changed the 'belly' filters - LH and RH make sure you pulled the plugs out of the ends of the filters and put them in the new ones.... the...921 and ,,,922 elements.
Also look for the bypass filter element for the engine behind the engine - most remove it and plug the lines..change the oil every 100 hours then is the general recommendation. 70269842 is the pn for early sn ps tranny filters.
