Just curious what vintage the orange lawn an garden carts were from. We have a bunch of yellow carts, we have a white one set up with high sides and cover for leaf vacuum. But we have a orange one new in box in the barn. We don't see to many orange carts around. Just wondering, thanks

My experience is very much the opposite.  The yellow carts are quite a bit harder to find than orange, and the white ones are nearly non-existent.  Simplicity made orange carts for 4 decades, at least.  They began back in the walk behind tractor era, before they even made riders, and were offered at least into the late 80's, maybe into the 90's.

Around here it's relatively easy to find an orange cart under $100.  A nice yellow cart fetches twice that, as those were only offered during the mid-late '60's.

The orange carts can be dated, to some degree.  Simplicity changed their logo, mfg # tag and even the frame color throughout the years.  The last orange carts would have a black frame, and NOS units aren't uncommon.  The earliest orange carts had the early Simplicity script logo on the tailgate, and can be tough to find in nice original condition.
Early carts also had a brake option (as did the yellow carts), and a cart with that is considered flat out rare (unless it is a walk behind type, with long tongue and sulky seat).
