Is it a WD45 or a 1945 WC?    MACK

Not a bad job except for that 70 year black 140 weight oil. It will even stink.     MACK

Mack, is 140 weight what I should use in the final drives of my WF?

Any new type oil is fine in there. The problem with thinner oil is they don't have good oil seals around wheel hubs. Light oil might leak worse, but easier to clean up than 80-90 or 140.       MACK

Has any body tried using some Lucas oil? I have used it on motors that have leaks, with some good luck.   Thanks for all your info.
