Hi guys I'm new to the forum as a member but I've been finding answers to my problems here for years I wish I would have joined a long time ago. I recently picked up a D19 with bad rubber and rims all around and a blown gas engine. However last summer our 190XT finally blew the tranny 40+years of Pulling the 5 bottom plow over 300+ acres among many other jobs a year and 2 engine rebuilds later needless to say it's done its work over the years but long story short I found a good XT rear end for less than a new 2nd and 3rd gear and it came with good rims and tires so our junkyard 19 is not sitting proud on 18-4s and is a complete straight tin tractor. Now we also have a ruining D19 gas I love the tractor it starts no matter what when ever you want it to -10 degrees no problem for the old girl and runs strong but due to how much gas it drinks we generally head for one of our d17s or our 190 diesel of course. Now we had a 6080 growing up with the 433ti the old sawed off 301.it had front wheel assist in 2 wheel it would keep up with the 190 and with front wheel engaged would out pull any day of the week at the same speed and use less fuel doing it I really liked that tractor only one we ever had that had a cab on it. But Im looking for a 433 engine for our new addition to the farm I don't care if it's out of a gleaner combine or a 6000 serie tractor only thing I don't want an early one with no balancer I would appreciate any leads anyone could give me. Gleaner 433T & 433I don't have front thrust bearing update. I know the 6000 tractors require it. Not sure, but maybe your D19 would require it too?

D19 would not need the front thrust bearing updates. It was the PTO setup on the 6000 series tractors which caused all the problems with the thrust bearing. It would be pretty cool seeing one of those engines in a D series!

Sorry about the long start to this thread. On other forums I use people always criticize and want to know the whole story of what's going on before I usually get answers so I got all that out of the way. As d series said the thrush nearing was for the pto on 6000 series. I have most of the knowledge I need to get this project done I just need to find a motor like I said we use these tractors and I just love the idea of a fuel friendly d19 that I don't have to worry about blowing heads/gaskets all season the turbos were just to much for those old budas. Plus we have a diesel d17 and we are getting a diesel wd45 later this summer from a neighbor so we'll have our buda fix taken care of.haha. thanks for the feed back guys

I have a spare D2200 out of a 653 Crawler and it has a pump mounted at the same location as the 301's, and its a double pump,

My neighbor swapped a 433I into an early D17. He had to remove the power steering cylinder because it didn't clear the oil pan. He also had to make an adapter plate kind of like what's on the back of a 262 to connect the engine to the torque housing. He used the original tractor flywheel and clutch disc but a Chevy truck pressure plate. He says it's capable of 80hp on the PTO.

That D 2200 when used in a cotton picker got up to 85 HP I was told by a guy done in ILL who did some mods - that was with a turbo

Here is s link to a you tube video of its 1st pull. Not a very impressive pull but it took 1st some how. Sometime this spring I will be getting tin work done and it will be getting painted so it won't be do ugly. We call it Frankenstein. I used it in the fields last year. The 1st thing I used it for was raking hay. It uses less fuel than our stock series 4 d17 uses gas. I was in compete shock when I hit the fuel barrel that evening could have easily find another 3 days as I didn't use a quarter tank in 13 hours of use only lunch break and supper break and I left it idle while I ate.its a fun Traktor to drive, it turns a lot of heads and is always a conversion strarter.all and all I love this build. I have another thread on here explaining a lot of the work and extra parts from what Traktor I used. Thanks for the interest I have allot of pictures of the work in progress but this forum won't support them I took those pics with intents to post them here but I can't figure it out. I will try again.

After 2 weeks of hard work our Frankenstein is alive we had a good lightning storm last night haha. 433ti in a D19 Chassis, with 190XT flywheel and clutch, 190 rear tires. We had to cut and add part of two d17 rails to raise the front end and an idler pully from am old 350. The adapter plate was as easy as drilling 3 holes. I had to grind about an eight inch out of a small section in the torque tube/clutch housing to allow clearance for the springs on the pressure plate. We installed all new gauges swapped the Murphy switch with a high pressure ac oil gauge new ac temp gauge working traction booster gauge. We had to order a new tac I ordered from summit racing, Stuart warner that fit in the factory hole and has an hour gauge no mph but that would never be right anyway. The power stearing wasnt to bad just had to make a new bracket add an idler pully and run a new high pressure line. We're going to add a high volume live hydraulic pump and a platform with steps and a battery box on the foot clutch side of the tractor we had to use the existing battery box for a diesel d19 air filter. We need to get some tin work done to put the hoods on don't know if we should let the turbo stick out or build a hood scoop for it. All and all I'm really happy with this build. It's different to fire up a d19 and hear that turbo whistling.
