I can not get it to not leak  .The fitting coming out of the  carb  is not anywhere near tight at the horizontal position.I am afraid I will kink the steel fuel line if I go any further ,i am already down to about 5 o clock .Is there a fix? thanks ahead of Time

Inspect the inlet threads to make sure they're not stripped. Might be leaking from there and dripping off the fitting making the fitting look like its leaking. Also inspect for a hairline crack around the inlet casting itself. If the threads and casting are okay, and it is the tubular line, you can use the original line for a pattern and make yourself a new line out of brake tubing. Pick yourself up two 1/8 npt x 1/4 tube fittings and install them in each side. One in the Carb, the other in the sediment bulb. Using an inverted flare brake line and snugging it up in each fitting should take care of that leak for a loooong time. If you don't have the tools to do the job, we offer a replacement line kit just as I explained if interested...

take the fitting out of the carb, wrap 4-5 layers of telfon thread tape around the threads,.. screw it back in and stop at the position you need...... few thousandths of tape should make it tighten up and fill the gap where it leaks.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
