Hi folks.
Right now I have a pin hitch drawbar. I am wanting to switch to a snap coupler style so that I have 3 point and drawbar easily without having to change it all around.
Can I mount the yolk and mounts to my existing underbelly springy thingy(technical term I know!), or do I need the entire snap coupler setup? Thanks
Lynn

You put the snap coupler bell on with your existing pin. Since you want a snap coupler draw bar you'll also need the support bail to go with it. Tony's tractors has the draw bar yoke listed but I don't know who has the mount brackets. If your going to use snap coupler equipment you'll also need the rock shaft. I bought the pin hitch mount 3 point yoke for my CA . Just pull the pin drop the draw bar and pin the three point adpeter in place. You'll never have to worry about the snap coupler coming loose and putting it on isn't that hard. I attach the lift links to the three point yoke and I can then lift the front of the adapter with one hand and put the pin in.

Thanks for the reply. I actually do not plan on using the snap coupler, i just want to be able to use the drawbar without removing the 3 point adapter and converting to a drawbar every time. I noticed the snap coupler draw bars work in that manner.

You can purchase a 3 point adapter for the pin hitch. It is a "wishbone" shaped adapter and will require a removable bar between the ends to use it as a drawbar. Check with Tony for details.

Greg, I have the wishbone setup now. I am wanting to take the tractor to some antique tractor pulls and was wanting a fixed drawbar that is always in place.
Thanks Lynn

Know of no setup that combines a pinhitch drawbar/support with a 3 point adapter. Sounds like your option is to convert to a snap couple hitch with a draw bar mounted three point hitch. You will need the snap bell/latch, release lever/cable, drawbar support bail, and a drawbar, and maybe a different rear rockshaft. You may be able to convert the pin hitch drawbar to a snap couple one by welding/bolting a snap couple eye to the end. I may have a snap couple bell/latch, release lever/chain and drawbar support bail for the CA. PM me if interested and I will dig around to see if my memory is working right.
