Hi guys, getting hammered with snow a the moment. Dads plowing with our D-15 series II, he probably pushing 3/4 throttle then when he puts stick into neutral to shift to reverse. Well as soon as hand clutch comes out into neutral the tractor reves up a lot higher. I can remember as kid it didn't do that, would just stay at about 3/4 throttle. What do you think is going on. Something in govaner.
Thanks

Check the AC shop manual.  You need to bend the carb-gov linkage, to correct the problem...Wink

The vertical governor post is corroded or just stuck...we had to disassemble mine to get the right parts to pivot...if it sticks it will act like it is racing...Mark
