I just wanted to say thanks for all the replies and help finding parts for my 5020. I know my Alis is a Japanese built machine, but the folks on here don't seem to mind helping members out regardless of were a tractor is built. Not one person has posted "this is an Allis Chalmers forum, not and import tractor forum". not saying they haven't thought of it . I'm a member of several forums and there are other color tractor forums who aren't so gracious to accept a person with a machine that wasn't built in the USA. OK I'm rambling a bit, but again Thanks to all. especially Gary for letting me get the parts.

glad there are folks out there willing to help. even before I posted on here I checked all the salvage yards I could and not a steering pinion to be found...thanks
