I am new here just got my first farm tractor. The seat on the wd from what I can tell is as far back as it goes but either farmers were shorter back in the 50's or something else is going on. I am 6 foot and my knees are in the steering wheel. Any other adjustment I am missing?

Humm?
Some pictures might help?
BTW Welcome!
I am 6'1" and fit the old WD's pretty well.
I do have my seats back in the last hole.
These never were designed for much creature comfort! And your left leg really should be about 4 inches longer to work the foot clutch too!:)
Dad and I rode thousands of miles on the 45's doing field work and hauling between two farms.

Regards,
Chris

I'm 6'2" and I fit pretty good.  My biggest beef is getting my big foot (right) stuck in between the bolts of the final and the fender.  I have to think ahead to hit the brakes.
Also, a big welcome!  You'll learn a lot here if you care to.  LOTS of old mechanics, and engineers from Allis-Chalmers and as such, a wealth of knowledge.  SOMETIMES even I can come up with something that helps. LOL

I'm 6' 3", and I know what you mean. My right knee is always in the hand clutch. Lol

Im also 6' tall. I put a flip seat hinge on both my 45's it moves the seat back another 1" and 1 1/2 " to the left. slide the foot clutch all the way foward and dont wear winter boots and you should be good. I have a Cab on my 45 so my right foot get stuck between the cab side and the brake pedals if im not careful.
