It is a bearing so no resizing.
Make sure PTO is not stopping it. Make sure piglet bearing did not come apart.
How much does it lack going togather?    MACK

piglet bearing? Never heard that term before. Is that the needle bearing?

Never replace the brass bushing in the front end of the power director clutch. It has to be machined to a specific size after installation.

Get some long bolts and help pull it together,, gently, if there is alot of resistance stop and check things out

I, personally, would never pull one together with bolts. I have used longer bolts as pilot bolts, to hold everything straight, but I wouldn't pull it together.

Tie down straps work pretty good pulling one togather. Hook battery up and bump it once in a while.     MACK
