I have a steady drip coming from my pto output.
I have ordered the new seal, what is the best way to remove the old one, and how can I tell if its a shaft which can be reversed from 540 to 1000 rpm
If it cannot be switched, can a different shaft be purchased to make it 1000
Thanks for the help

If it has three bolts on seal housing, it is 540 only.
No you cannot buy a different shaft to make it 1000, needs a lot more parts.

If it is 540, drain rear end remove three bolts, remove seal hosing and replace seal and orang..

When I was in the shop, I kept a seal housing. Could just switch housings with out draining oil.       MACK
