I have a D10 with a steering gear/ box that needs new bearings. Worm gear and sector gear are good. Just needs new bearings.

My current challenge is removing the TUBE that coverers the steering wheel shaft from the steering gear box.

AGCO parts book does not give a good photo of this area and I do not have a D10 service manual.

Any help would be appreciated from someone who has experience with these gear boxes.

Thanks in advance

To remove the steering tube, remove the steering wheel, remove the clamp at the base of the tube and slide the tube up off the steering shaft.
