Is this what i need to do away with the Thermal limiter? I have seen guys do it just not sure how. I have a Delco comp.

I would not do away with thermal limiter, but if it has the GM fuse, take it off.   MACK

I guess that would work,,,,
JD has a update/retrofit to change over their models with the thermal limit switch, I don't recall what all it was but hade some different hoses and done away with some of the wiring,,,
make sure ya keep system charged and they work fine. I keep a few of the fuses just in case tho

The way the original thermal limiter worked was when the pressure were too low the switch in the compressor activated it shorted thermal limiter which actually a fuse. This required replacing it. This a standard GM part. A better system is a pressure switch as was used on later systems. This switch turns off the compressor when the suction pressure is too low. Off course if you use R134A, it has to be a lower pressure setting.
I did away with the thermal limiter on my 7010 with no problems. GM did away with the thermal limiters on most systems even before the use of the pressure switch in the late 70's.
I'm not sure what the part shown in the like would actually gain you.
