I am getting ready to take my hood to the body shop in the next few weeks to get fixed up. One thing I would like to know from anyone that has one, does your exhaust pipe rest against the right side of the hood like mine? This picture shows the old rusty pipe (coming off the original Rayjay turbo) against the side of the hood... http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/190XT/DSC03886_zpsjffk6kzj.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> With my new A&I turbo and exhaust pipe, it is still in the same place... http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/190XT/DSC04508_zpszldjtnmm.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> I tried moving the turbo and elbow around, but nothing worked (without putting the pipe at a wild angle). Is there any way to move the hood around? I would prefer to not have to cut the hood. Any thoughts to get this pipe centered?

I had the same problem with mine but the previous owner just bent the hood into a lip around the one edge of the pipe... Looked horrible. I flattened his " fix" and then proceeded to make a relief cut for the pipe. Probably not the exact perfect fix but in my opinion it looks much cleaner than what was there and mine is just for work not show. Good luck!

If yours is like my 190 XTD, the exhaust/turbo heat cooks the hoods right side decals. Someday when I restore it, I'll see if anything can be done to slide the hot things to their left which may eliminate cooking the decal. If that is not a possibility, then maybe the following procedure may apply.

Is it possible that the tractor has the wrong exhaust elbow?

Make that hole a bit bigger. Then cut a round ring to fit as exact as you want and pop rivet in place. Will look good.
