I'm just seeing if anybody has ran a du-al loader on a d15 or d17? And what loader number seems to fit the best. Im looking at a few with the rear pump. The 320,325,250 seem like they would fit nice.

I may be just me but you picked the 3 worst loaders for a D17. The 320 is the best out of those 3 but still at the way bottom of the loader list. A 125 is kinda rare but is a good fit on a D17.
If you look at modern loaders on the market now, aint none of them a clone of the old Du-Als. And for good reason.

Thanks for the input. I have no idea which loader to get. Anything nice I find is around 2k. Not looking to spend that kind of money on a cheap old tractor

As said, 320 would be best. BIL had one on a D17 for manys years and it worked but probably better options.

Do you have any suggestions on different brands of loaders? I know the best would be the 400 or 500 series but seem tough to find and everybody wants top dollar for them.

A Schwartz 1400, or a Koyker K5 if you hunt around. They can be picked up pretty cheap sometimes.
The Du-Als are priced cheap for a reason. Nobody wants them.
I guess it depends on what type of loader work you want to do. If it involves a couple times a month,any loader will do. If you want to use it daily, spend the money on something better.

Look for a industry allis chalmers, d14, d15 or a d17 with a loader on it but a dead tractor there are alot of d14 s our there that go for short money with a loader. You can pull the loader and either have a parts tractor or sell the parts tractor and get most or all your money back.
But as to you comment an old cheap tractor. You might want to rethink that one cheap fixes make for more breakdowns. There is no cheap way to use equipment in my experience. I choose to spend the money up front and do the best I can afford when I fix things. That means I sometimes cut corners knowing it will cost me later.

Thanks. The tractor won't be used all that often. Just looking to get it a little better loader for it. It currently has the Freeman trip loader style now ran off the 2 point lever. Now I know why there's so many duals laying around for sale.

Two things come to mind right off, make sure you match the hydraulic system you have on your 17 for pressure requirements if a newer loader.
And if running a mid-mount, get the brackets or have them made so you can frame it back to the rear axles to distribute the stress loads as A-C did that for a reason.
