Question for you experienced 190 experts.
This 190xt pictured is after the serial break if i remember correctly on the xt axle updates and such. That being said the tractor was sitting in that shop in the background since '86-'87. The engine spun a rod bearing is the reaaon for it being split in two.
I know it was used for pulling some and thats when it spun a rod so the transmission rearend should be good.

The million dollar question is how much would you tear into trans rearend   after sitting so long. I want to check PD baskets and plates and replace any orings on the PD system. What should i replace regardless in you're opinions.
Its already split at the engine and i dont want to do it again.

since your pulling the pd.  Id replace the input shaft bearing, and the inner bearing the top shaft rides on.  also check the clearence on the countershaft bearings.  adjustable in front with snap rings.  if there is side play in the diff you will have to pull the pinions to adjust.

pto shaft seals.  pto shifter shaft oring

unless it had water it it i wouldnt be real concerned

Also, be sure to replace all the seals on all the shafts. Seals are cheaper than another teardown.
