A guy several miles away has a SC two bottom spinner plow for sale on CR, http://denver.craigslist.org/for/5972388492.html $500 seems like a bunch for a plow but we will see. I bought one just like it 20 years ago for $35.

Have seen some sell at auction around Iowa, that's in the range they bring here. Never thought I needed one that bad.

Around here 2 and 3 bottom snap coupler plows with good bottoms and rolling coulters, ready to go to the field bring $250 to $350, sometimes more for nice paint.
So a rollover plow in useable condition could reasonably be worth $500. If you can buy a snap coupler plow today for $35, more than likely it has junk bottoms and is only good for parts, the seller has no idea what they have or you're at an auction and everyone else there is a John Deere fan. lol!

I saw some old 2 and 3 bottom spinner plows that were trailer plows on steel wheels! Not Allis, but I thought they were really neat.

I rode by the place a couple days ago, before seeing the ad. He has several tractors lined up in the pasture out front, one might have been a D17, need to go by again and look. I don't think he will get $500 here for that plow but time will tell.

I have found that it all depends on where the spinner plow is located. These spinner plows were very plentiful out here as they were used on irrigated land. Prices I have paid range from "haul-it-away" to $150. At the Orange Spectacular I have sold several that got from $400-$500 depending on the condition of the plow. Of course there is a cost to move them from here to Hutchinson, MN.

IBWD Mike, If you buy it, I'll go over and pick it up and store it for a while until you can come for it. Only about 5 miles away.

John, I appreciate the offer. Sadly I don't think a trip to Colorado is in the cards this year.
