That's a new one on me. I'd think the torque tube would snap.

Never seen anything like that before.  I know G's have been modified for a number of purposes but that's a new one.  I'd think the little Continental engine would have a tough time moving that thing.  Maybe it doesn't weigh as much as it looks.

Maybe, and i am just going with a maybe, the weight distribution is such that there is not that much torque on the torque tub.   I would think the clutch would suffer more than the motor.

I'm thinking that's nothing Allis did.

It isn't something you see everyday. I somewhat disagree with Floyd. I think the operator would suffer greatly smoothing out hot blacktop on a hot summers day with no shade in sight. Ice water would be your best friend.

Kinda neat what 10HP can do !
There's a B like that for sale up here

blacktopping never was my idea of 'fun in the sun' though.

imagine the stress the torque tube, those tiny axles, and the transmission are under just moving that!

Just goes to show how versatile the G is.  We never did that involved a modification but we used them for a lot of "other" jobs and rebuilt them to do it.
Good Luck!
