Are the fuel caps different? Is the wd a round style originally and the 45 an unsettled cap?

It is a 1949 wd and a 1955 wd45.

Unstyled cap not unsettled. Dumb iPad auto correct

Both were the same. The caps had a little lever for easier turning.
